In April 1998, Jeannie received her Bachelor of Nursing from 91´«Ã½, marking the beginning of a devoted and prosperous nursing career. A highlight of her professional journey was her time at Dalhousie Family Medical Clinic as a Family Practice Nurse.

Jeannie’s resumé is long and her achievements great, with work that took her far and wide across Halifax, Edmonton, and Kingston. Whether she knew someone for years or only a short time, she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Jeannie's calming presence and practical intelligence made her an incredible nurse, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and wife. Everyone loves Nurse Jeannie!

In the spirit of her devotion to nursing, we are honouring her legacy by fundraising to create a bursary that will be awarded to a student in the Faculty of Nursing at MUN. We hope you will join us in this endeavour by making a donation to support the bursary. 100% of your donation will go directly to this cause. With your generosity, we are establishing a bursary that will support students for years to come, and with enough support, we hope to make the bursary live in perpetuity in Jeannie’s name.
